Keke Palmer named first-ever Chief Brand Officer of Creme of Nature: "This company cares about the same things I do - authenticity, representation, and natural beauty"

KEKE Palmer, known for her multifaceted roles as an activist, actress, author, media owner, producer, singer, songwriter, and television host, has been named the first-ever Chief Brand Officer (CBO) for Creme of Nature.

The Black-founded and Black-led brand specialises in hair products tailored for coily, curly, and wavy hair.

“What really stood out to me about Creme of Nature is its commitment to celebrating Black beauty,” Palmer stated. “From the start, it has been crafting effective, high-quality products that really cater to our unique hair textures and needs. This partnership means so much more than just being an ambassador or face of the brand, but more important, I get to have a voice in shaping the future of a company that truly cares about the same things I do—authenticity, representation, and natural beauty.”

As CBO, Palmer will serve as an on-camera model and spokesperson, collaborating closely with the Creme of Nature team on product innovation, packaging evolution, and product demonstrations. She will play a pivotal role in shaping brand direction, marketing, and storytelling, aiming to engage the multicultural community. Expect to see her featured in digital and social media campaigns, in-store displays, and national advertising, with live appearances beginning later this year.

Chandra Coleman, head of marketing at Creme of Nature said: “Creme of Nature was founded in Chicago, so Keke, a Chicago native, brings a genuine and relatable perspective—her deep connection to her roots, along with her insights and expertise, will help us better meet the needs of our customers.

“Throughout Keke’s remarkable professional career and personal life, she’s demonstrated her authentic self, in line with our brand ethos. We believe that with Keke on board, we can continue to grow and make a meaningful difference in the hair care industry.”

In addition to her new role, Palmer founded the digital network KeyTV in 2022, which showcases BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) talent in various entertainment roles. Her upcoming memoir, Master of Me, is set to release in November, following her 2017 book I Don’t Belong to You. Next year, she will star in a buddy comedy featuring singer-songwriter SZA, produced by Issa Rae.
