MADAME Tussauds has honoured British actress Letitia Wright and her iconic Black Panther character, Shuri, with the unveiling of three stunning wax figures across its Hollywood, Amsterdam, and Sydney locations.

Wright’s powerful portrayal of Shuri, the brilliant and fearless Wakandan princess, has earned her a lasting place in cinematic history.

Reflecting on the achievement, the award-winning Guyanese-British actress and producer shared a heartfelt message on Instagram: “Monumental moments. Another stone added to this journey towards legacy. I couldn’t have achieved this without my INCREDIBLE supporters! 3 Locations with Shuri!”

These wax figures celebrate Wright’s groundbreaking portrayal of Shuri, the genius inventor and fearless leader in Black Panther.

Her character's journey—from supporting her brother T'Challa to ultimately stepping into the mantle of the Black Panther herself—resonated with audiences worldwide. Shuri's strength, intelligence, and leadership have made her a beloved figure, not just within the Marvel universe, but as a symbol of empowerment and innovation.
