Nala’s Baby celebrates another major milestone with expansion of new sleep and kids haircare range

Nala’s Baby, a leading UK-based clean skincare brand for infants and young children, is expanding its product offerings with the launch of a new Sleep & Kids range. Specially crafted for children transitioning out of baby care products, the line will be available next week in Boots and Tesco, meeting the demand for natural, effective solutions that support children's bedtime and grooming routines.

“As Nala grows up, she loves having products she can identify with—she doesn’t like being called a baby or using baby products,” shared Sasha Ellese Gilbert, co-founder of Nala’s Baby and mother to Nala. Gilbert, who created the brand with Nala's father, Casyo "Krept" Johnson, added, “The range’s tropical fruit scent is a big hit with her too.”

The new kids’ haircare line features a nourishing shampoo designed to lather quickly and a thick conditioner formulated to work through dense or longer hair. The line also introduces a gentle detangle and leave-in conditioner, making it easier for parents to manage tangles painlessly.

Complementing the kids’ range, the new sleep line is infused with calming lavender, crafted to help young children unwind before bed. With growing interest in natural bedtime solutions, the sleep products offer a gentle way to enhance evening routines and support restful sleep.

This dual product launch highlights Nala’s Baby’s commitment to providing age-specific personal care options made with clean ingredients. Since its inception, the brand has grown rapidly, selling over one million units by March 2024.

With distribution across major UK retailers including Tesco, Ocado, Morrisons, Whole Foods Market, and Boots, Nala’s Baby has recently expanded into Sainsbury’s, further boosting its reach and solidifying its presence in the competitive market.

Gilbert and Johnson, who share a dedication to transparency and safety in their formulations, are proud of the brand's growth. “Like many parents, I was cautious about potential harm to my daughters’ skin and hair from traditional products,” Gilbert explained. “We’re thrilled to now be stocked in Sainsbury’s, making our clean skincare accessible to more families across the UK.”

Johnson emphasised their shared mission: “Our goal has always been to offer natural, accessible skincare for young families. Expanding into Sainsbury’s and seeing strong sales growth speaks to our commitment to nurturing the next generation with safe, honest products.”

With the launch of the Sleep & Kids range, Nala’s Baby continues to expand its mission to provide high-quality, natural skincare options for children across the UK.

The new range will be available in Boots and Tesco stores nationwide next week.
