Olympic athletes Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield are officially engaged following a heartfelt proposal on October 12.
Lyles shared the news on Instagram, showcasing a romantic setup that featured a rose-covered heart display, candles, and sparklers, highlighted by a neon sign reading, “Will you marry me?”
Bromfield looked stunning in a shimmering silver gown as Lyles, dressed in a custom black suit with a golden racing stripe, knelt down to propose in front of family and friends, who erupted in cheers when she said yes.
In his post, Lyles expressed his love, captioning one video, “To My Future Wife, I Will Love You Forever.”
The engagement drew congratulations from several celebrity friends, including actor Terry Crews, who wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS!!!” and actress Lily Collins, who added, “Congratulations you both!!!!”
After the proposal, Bromfield addressed their guests in a video, saying, “I’m extremely happy and grateful to each and every one of you guys, and I hope you’ll be along with us for the rest of our journey.”
The couple's engagement follows a successful year, having competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics this past summer. Lyles earned a gold medal for Team USA in the 100m, while Bromfield represented Team Jamaica and previously won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
